IVS 2023 KYOTO: Japan's Largest Startup Conference Introduces a Social Innovation Track, Focusing on Tech-Driven Solutions to Social Issues

The 'IVS 2023 KYOTO', Japan's largest startup conference held in Kyoto, will unveil a new 'SOCIAL INNOVATION AREA' this year. This area is a space dedicated to showcasing cutting-edge projects and researchers tackling social issues through technology, offering related content.

According to the 'IVS 2023 KYOTO' Executive Committee, the SOCIAL INNOVATION AREA will be established during the three-day event from June 28th to 30th, produced by taliki Inc. This area will be located on the 3rd floor of Miyako Messe, Kyoto's Transportation Museum.

Within the area, a stage, exhibition space, and booths will be set up focusing on topics related to solving social issues. Entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, NGOs, and government officials from various fields such as biotech, public health, medicine, materials, AI, space, energy, and investment will be invited to explore the future of humanity.

On the stage, experts from various fields will serve as speakers, discussing social impact creation and achieving genuine well-being. The event will provide a platform for introducing and discussing various means and methodologies for realizing social innovation.

Visitors can experience social innovation projects firsthand through interactive screens and cutting-edge technology exhibitions. For instance, they will be introduced to social innovation examples from various organizations and companies, including Digiterra, the Watanabe Laboratory at the University of Tokyo, and the Osaka Kansai International Arts Festival.
