Ishikawa Prefecture's Suzushi, Notocho, and Anazumicho announced on the 3rd that they had recognized a total of 18 deaths related to the Noto Peninsula earthquake disaster. It is reported that they died while evacuating due to deteriorating health. The official recognition of related deaths has reached a total of 70. The number of earthquake victims has risen to 299, including deaths directly caused by house collapses. According to each municipality, the number of applications for recognition of related deaths has exceeded 200, and the number of recognitions is likely to increase further. The recognized cases include 3 in Suzushi City, 9 in Notocho, and 6 in Anazumicho. Among the 18, 12 people whose age and gender were disclosed were all 70 years old or older. In Notocho, 7 out of 9 were disclosed. A woman over 90 years old was affected at a nursing facility and died due to weakened physical condition as she was forced to be transported to a hospital due to power outages and water disruptions.

Meanwhile, Toyama Prefecture has announced a support package for earthquake victims to help with earthquake damage support. The package includes support for victims' livelihoods, support for those in long-term evacuation, support for those taking the National Center Test for University Admissions, support for small and medium-sized enterprises and workers, support for agricultural, forestry, and fishery workers, tax reduction measures, fee exemption for various procedures, medical care, health, and welfare, and support for disaster-stricken areas.

Toyama Prefecture's support package includes various support measures to maintain the livelihoods of the victims. First, a governor's visit allowance will be paid for completely destroyed and partially destroyed houses. 100,000 yen will be paid for completely destroyed houses and 50,000 yen for partially destroyed houses. In addition, a living reconstruction allowance will be paid to households that have suffered severe damage to their livelihood, such as a completely destroyed house due to a natural disaster. A basic allowance of up to 1 million yen will be paid based on the degree of housing damage, and an additional allowance of up to 2 million yen will be paid depending on the method of house reconstruction.

In addition, Toyama Prefecture has also prepared support measures for the victims' housing restoration. For those whose houses have been completely or partially destroyed due to the earthquake and who are unable to continue living due to housing difficulties, temporary Toyama Prefecture housing will be provided. The provision period is 6 months, and it can be extended to a maximum of 1 year as needed. For those who cannot secure housing on their own, private rental housing will be rented and provided temporarily. In addition, emergency repairs to prevent the expansion of housing damage and minimal partial repairs necessary for daily life will also be supported.

In addition to this support package, Toyama Prefecture is promoting various projects for the reconstruction of the affected areas.
